At Withofs Bulk Logistics, we have deliberately chosen to maintain our fleet ourselves. Both at Withofs and at Weltens, we operate our own fully equipped workshops where our teams take care of the maintenance, repairs and technical follow-up of our vehicles.

For us, having our own workshops is a conscious choice. It allows us to stay in control of our fleet, work more efficiently and respond faster when technical interventions are needed. This way of working helps us keep our vehicles in excellent condition and ensures that our fleet remains ready for our customers every day.

Maintaining our complete fleet in-house

Our workshops are responsible for maintaining our entire fleet, including trucks, tank trailers, bulk trailers and other transport equipment.

Our experienced technicians carry out a wide range of activities themselves, including preventive maintenance, major servicing, repairs, technical checks and vehicle inspections. We also perform our own fleet inspections and use modern testing equipment and digital diagnostic systems to quickly identify and resolve technical issues.

By handling these activities internally, we have direct control over the quality and timing of our maintenance. We do not depend on external workshop availability and can organise maintenance according to our own operational needs.

Our fleet manager Ahmed plays an important role in this process. He follows the technical condition of our vehicles, coordinates maintenance activities and keeps an overview of the needs of our fleet. Ahmed also regularly consults with our planners. By keeping close communication between fleet management, maintenance and operations, we can better align technical interventions with transport planning. This allows us to schedule maintenance at the right moments and avoid unnecessary downtime.
